NEW CANDOUR POCKET CAMERA APPEAL
At the end of 2023 I appealed in a Blog for a digital camera. The response was brilliant. Yuri from the US sent a beautiful big Kodak camera. (Too good to carry around the streets!) Bill Baillie, UK, sent me a great pocket camera. A Nikon Coolpix S3000. Even I could figure out all the instructions for that one. With the pocket camera I can be quite the citizen reporter as well as taking pics of meetings/demos, etc. Understand that for old fashioned principle and security, I do not have a 'smart' phone with a camera and only a pay as you go 'burner' which I do not usually carry with me.
Where I live on the South Coast, just as in all other parts of the UK, we have an increasingly severe 'Roma' problem. Being naturally nosey I took a photograph of one or more of them, in March, lurking in the town centre near the train station. Within a minute or two as I headed for the bus station I was surrounded by twenty plus Roma (the power of the smart phone) screaming "Delete! Delete!" and "Rayceeest! Rayceeest!" as they tried to force their hands into my pockets to grab the camera and whatever else they could. Long story short. I was arrested unharmed.
Finally released in the early hours of the next day on unconditional bail with the prospect of 2 x charges of " Racially/religiously aggravated common assault/beating " ahead.
3 months later I had to report to the nearest police station in the middle of an industrial estate miles from anywhere to be told that I had a "No Further Action Decision" on charges.
Now I know more of the 'local' Roma problem, literally first hand, and how organised they are and how **** scared the police are of them.
IMPORTANT: When I asked Hampshire Constabulary for the return of my pocket camera. Blank looks. Everything has to be done online and they know nothing.... about anything. Remember I was not charged... Still trying for the return of my camera, not holding my breath, but meanwhile I am without that useful tool.
The camera which I would very much like to replace asap was a NIKON COOLPIX S3000. (Donation from Bill Baillie.) Looking online to replace with the same or similar looks to be in the £120 range?

Apart from replacing the digital pocket camera our funds do need some serious topping up. Summer is always the slowest time of the the year and yet our book sales online via Amazon and other outlets in both June and July have been the best monthly sales in the last decade! Younger folk are still reading! Despite the worst efforts of their 'Educators'. They want to know about our nationalist history and ideology. So very encouraging that they are not all zombified. Together we help to keep a little light shining... New batteries always needed.
