A big thank you to all who have supported Candour throughout 2025.
Thank you too for the Christmas and Yuletide cards received at the office. They are all much appreciated and are lined up on some of the book shelves here.
They bring a smile to my face as does the latest letter box cover outside the Alverstoke Post Office in the lovely village in the Gosport area. So rich in Royal Naval history. Well done, again, to the ladies of the Alverstoke WI. (Women's Institute) for their latest effort. We Britons do like our Robin Redbreasts. Fiercely territorial both male and female Robins sport the red chest and their numbers are apparently on the increase. Speaking from experience they like some human company and are fearless. Good for them.

Let us remember this Christmas time the heroic Palestinians, many of whom are Christian or secular and defenders of Bethlehem*. Betrayed by a 'British Government' in 1917. The Balfour Agreement. (See elsewhere for info).
Make NO MISTAKE. What they are facing now is heading OUR way or is already here. The destruction of all that we hold dear.
*Bethlehem: Historically, it was a small city of Arab Christians, who made up about 86% of the population in 1950, but this community had dwindled significantly to 10% as of 2022, and now has as majority of Arab Muslims. (A situation engineered by the same people who created Hamas to destroy the secular Palestine Liberation Organisation [PLO]).
